Thornton Creek wants to help you get to school safely! To get here, we’ve compiled a few resources for you.

Walk to school: Please see the Safe Routes to School Walking Map for Thornton Creek from the City of Seattle

By school bus: Visit the Seattle Public Schools Transportation Department for information

By car: Please see the traffic flow around the school. Where to park.

By carpool: There are TC families all over the city! We are committed to helping connect you to other families near you, or families that might pass along your route. If you would like to opt in for possible connections, please add yourself to our carpool map. Email neighborconnections@thorntoncreek.org with your name and child’s room number for further instructions.

By bike: Off the Burke-Gilman Trail, TC is another 1.4 miles north. Take 39th street as the safest way up the hill (has a bike path zone).

By metro bus: Route 65 takes you north or south on 35th Ave NE, a five minute walk to the school from the stops near NE 75th St.

Route 71 picks up and drops off on 40th Ave NE, in front of the school. It travels north to 85th ST. and south to the University of Washington.
