When your absent or will be late please email thorntoncreek.attendance@seattleschools.org or call 206-252-5304 and let us know the reason for your absence. Vacation days are coded as “unexcused vacation” time. These absences are not truant days; however, you may receive a call/email from the District. Please ignore the notification and enjoy your trip.

Students not in the classroom by 8:00 a.m. shall come to the office to check-in and ensure attendance is corrected

To pick up your student early from school for an appointment, please come to the office to sign them out. We will call your student when you arrive. Advanced notification through email thorntoncreek@seattleschools.org or phone call to 206-252-5300 is welcome. While we understand appointments may be necessary during school hours, minimizing interruptions to instruction is appreciated.
