Dear Thornton Creek families and staff,

I am writing to share the news that Principal Gerrit Kischner is currently on a leave of absence. Thornton Creek Elementary’s current assistant principal, Ms. Brandee Spencer, will serve as acting principal through the end of the school year.

I understand that changes such as these can be disruptive. I am confident that Principal Spencer will step in and provide effective leadership to maintain daily school operations. Her role as acting principal is to support students, staff, and families.

I appreciate your patience and partnership as we work together to ensure the continued success and well-being of the Thornton Creek community.
